PRESS & TESTIMONIALS
A good guide is what you need to get the best out of Africa and they don’t come any better than Alex Hunter. Without his incredible know-how I would never have been able to creep up on Tsavo’s last giant tuskers.

What a team! Our camp was transported from place to place by a string of camels and we were accompanied by a superb group of guys who were able to put up tents, short drop loos and kitchens seemingly by magic and produce the most amazing meals from a rudimentary bush kitchen. Even gin and tonics with ice and lemon were available after a day’s exploring! We cannot recommend Alex highly enough - his knowledge of Kenya is second to none and he makes excellent company.

My wife, Henrietta, and I have known Alex for about 2 decades. We have travelled thousands of miles together on foot, in jeeps and in forays. We have shared excitements, disasters and other extraordinary experiences. Walking for days across the Maasai Mara we’ve come across poached elephants freshly slaughtered for their ivory, sprang lions from the bush who had not heard us, watched other lions troop just 50 feet from where we had laid-up in the long grass to watch their passage and even met, 6 feet away, a massive Hyena on a game path in the long grass; he was as surprised as we were. I have frequently and will continue to entrust myself, my family and my friends into his care. There really is no-one with whom we would rather share our time with in Africa
